Education and Ergonomics
My goal is to ensure that you understand the anatomy and physiology behind your injury/condition. You will be provided with guidance on posture, body mechanics, and activity modifications to aid in your recovery.

Exercise Prescription
In order to be able to maintain and/or further improve a functional limitation, you will receive therapeutic exercises that will be individualized to your personal needs. Your program will aim to improve range of motion, strength, flexibility, balance, and functional or sport-specific movement patterns.

Manual Therapy
Manual therapy (hands-on therapy) is an integral part of my practice, used to effectively assess and treat patients.
Manual therapy techniques aim to relieve pain, improve mobility, and restore function through techniques such as joint mobilization and manipulation, soft tissue release, muscle energy, and nerve mobilization.

Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a therapeutic technique involving the insertion of thin needles into specific points on the body to stimulate nerves, muscles, and connective tissues. Acupuncture triggers the release of endorphins – the body’s natural pain-relieving neurohormones. It is an effective tool used to manage pain, reduce inflammation, promote healing, and improve overall function.

Other Therapeutic Modalities
Use of heat, cold, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation may be used in your treatment session to reduce pain and promote healing.
